The Anteros Foundation is a non-profit making organisation the purpose of which is to educate all in the arts by courses, projects and exhibitions.

WORKING WITH SCHOOLS

Working with schoolsThe Anteros Arts Centre works with schools to provide bespoke art courses meeting particular needs for students.

The courses may be introducing talented students to etching: ceramic work; exploring colour mixing; tonal awareness; techniques of oil painting; scraffito; air brushing; sponge work; mixed media as well as the skill of portraiture. At the same time the courses introduce students to professionals of the art industry and different career options are discussed.

These workshop days may also take the form of providing lectures on fine art. A particular period; school of artists; or individual artist may be chosen as a theme. This theme may then be extended to explore a particular artist's technique; for example, the work of Monet or Van Gogh. The day may consist of going out from the Centre to paint waterlillies or undertake al fresco landscape or seascape work.

The Director of the Centre is happy to work with heads of art to fulfil particular milestones of their students' development.
