The Anteros Centre in Bergh Apton is running a Summer School for talented sixth form art students this year. this will cover portraiture and life classes and will be over three days.

The aim of the School will be to allow students to gain experience and build on their portfolios concerning figurative art using different media covering the need for accuracy in drawing and the use of tonal quality.

The aim is also to ensure art students from different schools get together so that they make friends across different schools. There will therefore be times when individuals will be asked to form groups and discuss given topics relating to art and the course will end in a critique.

The course is £30 a day per student bring packed lunch and is limited to 10 students.
